A new trailer has arrived for Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky, the anime adaptation of Nanigashi Shima and raemz’s light novel. The series is set to premiere on July 6 2026, and the trailer offers a first look at its soft, emotional tone while debuting the opening theme Hitohira by Motohiro Hata.
A Creative Team Focused on Warmth and Atmosphere
The adaptation is animated by Makaria, the studio behind Kurayukaba. Direction comes from Joe Yoshizaki, known for The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows and Kakuriyo Bed & Breakfast for Spirits 2.
The script is written by Yūko Kakihara, whose recent work includes Blue Box and the 2022 and 2024 versions of Urusei Yatsura.
Character designs are handled by Yoshihiro Sawada and Yūzuki Ishii, bringing a soft, expressive look to the cast.

A Story About Connection in the Quiet Moments
The series follows Kakero Mano, a reserved university student who meets Koharu Fuyutsuki one April night in Tokyo. She is bright, warm and full of life, a stark contrast to Kakero’s introverted nature. What he doesn’t realize at first is that Koharu is blind.
Despite her disability, she embraces life fully: attending classes, joining clubs, making friends and dreaming of one day launching fireworks. Kakero wonders why fireworks matter if she cannot see them, but the answer may lie in something deeper than sight.
As their paths intertwine, Kakero begins to understand that Koharu’s way of living might be the spark he needs to move forward, too.
