Kingsglory and Pawprint Studio have announced that Aniimo will launch in Q3 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, Android and iOS.
A global closed beta is also on the way for Steam, Android and iOS, with registration now open on the official site.
Aniimo is a free to play open world action RPG built around creature capture, exploration and a unique fusion mechanic called Twining, which lets players merge with their Aniimo partners.
Explore the World of Idyll Through Your Aniimo
Players take on the role of Pathfinders, adventurers who bond with magical creatures known as Aniimo.
Through Twining, you can fight, move and explore the world from the Aniimo’s perspective, experiencing their society, habits and daily interactions.
The closed beta will introduce new creatures such as:
- Bubbeep
- Popapus
- Mophling
- Sausite
And new evolved forms like Budsquire and Thornblade.
New Features Coming to Astra
The hub city of Astra is expanding with:
- New accessory shops
- A blind box store
- A clothing shop
- Additional decorative buildings
Players can also customize their VR mobile base through the Homeland system, now offering more Aniimo themed decorations and layout options.
A New Aquatic Region to Discover
The beta will open access to the Island of Peace, a brand new water themed region filled with fresh creatures, secrets and environmental challenges.
PvP and Co‑op Take Center Stage
Aniimo introduces competitive and cooperative modes, including:
Diamond Egg Heist (PvP)
Up to six teams of three Pathfinders race to secure a diamond egg.
Once a player grabs it, teamwork becomes essential as the remaining members must protect and escort the egg to victory.
Co‑op Boss Battles
Players can team up to face new bosses such as Bubbask and Coraliz, each requiring coordination and smart use of Aniimo abilities.
Aniimo Exchange Opens Player Trading
For the first time, players will be able to exchange Aniimo with each other, adding a social and strategic layer to creature collecting.
A World Built Around Discovery and Fusion
According to the game’s overview, Aniimo offers:
- Creature discovery with capture, training, evolution and investigation
- An expansive open world where Aniimo grow and adapt
