Ponce has announced that the Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC for Vampire Survivors will launch in summer 2026 across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, Android and iOS. The expansion arrives alongside a major shift for the franchise under a new label called Survivaton, short for “survive a ton,” which will serve as the umbrella for future survivor‑like projects developed internally and with select partners.
Under this initiative, the original game is now titled Vampire Survivors: First Survivaton, marking its role as the foundation of the series.
Patch 1.15 Kicks Off the New Era
To celebrate the Survivaton launch, Patch 1.15 is now available on Steam, adding:
- A new level
- New characters
- New weapons
- New Darkanas
The update will roll out to other platforms by the end of the month due to optimization needs.
A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also confirmed, featuring improved performance and full mouse support.
Legacy of the Bloodmoon Expands the Universe
The upcoming DLC is described as the “evil twin” of the first expansion, Legacy of the Moonspell, and brings a massive amount of new content:
- 10 new characters
- Over 16 weapons and evolutions
- A new XL map
- Eight new music tracks
To keep both expansions aligned in scope, poncle will also expand Moonspell with additional content and permanently reduce its price.
Survivaton: A Platform for Bigger Ideas
Survivaton is more than a rebrand. It is a framework for:
