Telltale Games and PM Studios lit up Summer Game Fest 2026 with a two part announcement for fans of The Wolf Among Us. Not only is The Wolf Among Us 2 officially set for 2027, but the original 2013 classic is coming back in a fully remastered edition arriving Christmas 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
A Remaster Built for Modern Platforms
The remastered edition brings back all five original episodes with a suite of upgrades:
- Visual enhancements and improved lighting
- Revamped animations
- Remastered audio
- New accessibility options
- Performance optimizations across all platforms
It also includes over an hour of bonus content, featuring producer commentary, cast interviews, deleted scenes and behind the scenes material that digs into how one of Telltale’s most beloved stories was created.
The Wolf Among Us 2 Returns to Fabletown
The long awaited sequel picks up after the events of the original game, bringing players back to Fabletown, the hidden New York community where fairytale characters live among humans. With the city growing more unstable, Snow White struggles to maintain order while players once again step into the role of Bigby Wolf, the sheriff caught between duty and his own darker instincts.
A Comeback Years in the Making
After years of uncertainty surrounding the franchise, fans finally have a clear path back into the noir soaked world inspired by the Fables comic series. Whether revisiting the original through the remaster or preparing for Bigby’s next chapter in 2027, the future of The Wolf Among Us is brighter than it has been in a decade.
