Breakout actor Asa Germann (Gen V, Scream 7) is in final talks to star as Warren Worthington III, also known as Angel, in Marvel Studios' highly anticipated X-Men reboot. Directed by Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts) and produced by parent company The Walt Disney Company, the superhero tentpole is officially scheduled to land in theaters nationwide on May 5, 2028. Germann originally read for the role of Cyclops before studio executives repurposed his audition to lock him in for the high-flying mutant hero.
