Following the colossal success of its record-breaking romance slate, Amazon MGM Studios has officially acquired the worldwide rights to Throttled, the feature film adaptation of author Lauren Asher’s bestselling motorsport romance novel. Australian rising star Josh Heuston (Off Campus, Dune: Prophecy) is set to lead the high-stakes project as legendary Formula 1 driver Noah Slade.
Targeting a streaming premiere on Prime Video, the project is fast-tracked for development with production slated to begin ahead of a projected 2027 release window.
