Aeruta expands to PS4, PS5, and Switch with new physical editions and a fan-voted art contest. Learn its bakery RPG mechanics and console launch details.
Gravity Game Arise and FromDawn have announced that Aeruta, the fantasy RPG that blends dungeon crawling with bakery management, will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. A release date has not yet been revealed.
Aeruta first entered Early Access on Steam on May 15, 2024, and launched its full version on November 5, 2025, building a dedicated community around its unique mix of combat, crafting, and shopkeeping.
In Japan, the PS5 and Switch versions will be available in physical and digital formats, offered in both Standard and Collector’s Box editions. The PS4 version will be digital-only.

What Is the Story of Aeruta?
Aeruta takes place in a world where bread has been forgotten, leaving towns struggling without one of their most important staples. After a chaotic accident caused by the protagonist Chaia, she becomes stranded in a small, declining town.
There she meets Effie, the owner of a failing bakery. To repay her debt and help restore the town, Chaia joins Effie in rebuilding the bakery, learning recipes, gathering ingredients, and reviving the community through breadmaking.
The story blends humor, cozy atmosphere, and adventure as Chaia explores dangerous regions to collect materials while managing the bakery’s daily operations.
