KOEI TECMO and Team NINJA have announced that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 3, 2026.
This marks the series’ first appearance on a Nintendo platform, delivering the full action RPG experience along with every expansion and bonus released since the game’s 2023 debut.
A Dark Three Kingdoms Reimagined
Set in a twisted, demon‑infested version of China’s Three Kingdoms era, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows an unnamed militia soldier fighting to survive amid chaos and supernatural threats.
Combat blends fast martial‑arts‑inspired action with strategic progression systems, rewarding mastery of timing, deflection and character abilities.
All Expansions and Endgame Content Included
The Complete Edition bundles the base game with all three major expansions:
- Battle of Zhongyuan
- Conqueror of Jiangdong
- Upheaval in Jingxiang
It also includes the Thousand‑Mile Journey endgame mode, new weapons, new stages, extra difficulty levels and additional divine creatures.
Players will also find crossover content inspired by Nioh 2, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and Lies of P, adding themed equipment and unique challenges.
Bonus Gear and Quality‑of‑Life Features
The Switch 2 version includes several previously limited items:
- Baihu Armor
- Zhuque Armor
- Qinglong Armor
- The Records of the Grand Historian, a feature that helps players locate flags on the map
As a launch celebration, Switch 2 players will also receive the exclusive Xuanwu Armor at no extra cost.
A Strong Lead‑In to Wo Long 2
The announcement arrives just days after the reveal of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, scheduled for early 2027.
The sequel promises expanded defensive techniques, deeper martial‑arts inspirations and the return of the Morale system, making this Complete Edition a perfect warm‑up for what comes next.
