Square Enix has officially announced the release date for Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s second artbook volume, titled The Art of Succession: Relics of Eternity. The book arrives on December 15, 2026, completing the two volume set that documents the entire Dawntrail expansion and its post launch patch cycle. Packed with nearly one thousand full color illustrations, this release is positioned as one of the most substantial collector’s items in the MMO’s long running artbook series.

What Is The Art of Succession: Relics of Eternity
Relics of Eternity is the second volume in the Dawntrail artbook set, following Relics of Heritage released in April 2025. This new volume covers all visual content added to Final Fantasy XIV between patches 7.1 and 7.5, including:
- The Arcadion
- Echoes of Vana’diel
- Cosmic Exploration
The book contains 304 pages of artwork, concept designs, character sheets, equipment illustrations, mascots, mounts, and environmental art.

This marks the eleventh official artbook in the FFXIV line.
