What Is the Story of Cresata
Cresata’s narrative unfolds across a world torn apart by civil war, betrayal, and catastrophic misuse of a mysterious energy source known as Ouranite.
The Conflict
Leo Vennghast demanded that Phaedon and Lasila push their Ouranite research beyond safe limits. They refused, knowing the reactor’s activation could destroy their world. Their refusal fractured the noble houses, igniting a civil war between:
- The Reclaimers, led by Vennghast
- House Ourasonis, aligned with Phaedon
The Fall of Nova Arsica
As Reclaimer forces closed in, Lasila led the floating island Nova Arsica to Satelles Peak, the highest point in Vaelos, to prevent its capture. Maintaining control over the island’s gravitational field pushed both the bio Ouranite and Lasila’s body past their limits.
She succumbed to infection, physically merging with the living ore.
Vennghast declared victory, crowned himself Prime Reclaimer, and imprisoned Phaedon for his knowledge of the reactor’s design.
The Beginning
This is where the player’s journey begins, navigating a world reshaped by war, loss, and corrupted energy.
