Japanese studio GPTRACK50 has released a brand‑new trailer for Stupid Never Dies, confirming the action RPG will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2026.
The video dives into gameplay, progression systems and the eccentric cast that will join the protagonist on his bizarre quest.
A Zombie Underdog on a Mission of Love
The adventure follows Davy, a zombie considered the weakest monster in his world.
His goal is anything but small: revive Julia, a human woman frozen in time whom he fell in love with at first sight.
To make this impossible dream real, Davy must fight through a massive dungeon filled with increasingly dangerous creatures.
Devour Your Enemies With the Style Eat System
One of the game’s standout mechanics is the Style Eat system.
Davy can literally devour enemies to absorb their abilities, unlocking new combat styles.
There are 11 playable styles, including:
- Zombie
- Werewolf
- Vampire
- Harpy
- Cyclops
- Demon
- And several other monstrous forms
Each style changes how Davy fights, encouraging experimentation and hybrid builds.
Body Hack System Adds Even More Customization
The trailer also highlights the Body Hack system, which lets players modify Davy’s body with strange and powerful enhancements.
Combined with Style Eat, it creates a flexible combat sandbox where players can tailor their abilities to match their preferred playstyle.
Bosses, Allies and a Dungeon Full of Danger
GPTRACK50 revealed several bosses featured in the campaign, including Afleet and Wyvern, each demanding new strategies and style combinations.
Davy will not face the dungeon alone. His allies include:
- Bessie, a zombie biker
- Dr. Frank, a brilliant but chaotic scientist
- Goyle, a dedicated researcher
- Acelino, a loyal assistant
Their eccentric personalities help shape the game’s offbeat narrative tone.
Fast‑Paced Combat and Stylized Visuals
Developed by veterans of the action genre, Stupid Never Dies leans into fast combat, expressive art direction and a story packed with humor and heart.
The result is an action RPG that feels both chaotic and surprisingly emotional.
