NIS America has officially launched R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos, the complete turn based sci fi strategy collection, now available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The release marks the first time both tactical R-Type titles have been bundled together for modern platforms, including the long awaited Western debut of R-Type Tactics II.

To celebrate the launch, NIS America confirmed that two free DLC packs will arrive on June 29, 2026, adding new unit variations and a special Arrow Head variant for all players.
