Jurassic World Evolution 3 Roars Forward With Rebirth Expansion and Four New Dinosaurs

Frontier Developments has announced that the Rebirth Expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 3 launches on June 16, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
Priced at €24.99, the expansion brings a full campaign inspired by Jurassic World: Rebirth, new facilities, new systems and four fearsome new species.

A Campaign Built on Secrets and Science

The expansion drops players into a narrative centered on three top‑secret facilities across Île Saint‑Hubert.
You will manage dangerous predators in the Main Facility, study prehistoric giants in the Ancient Valley and synthesize semi‑aquatic species in the Riverside Lab.
A shared island‑wide budget and a geothermal energy network add new layers of strategy.

The campaign uses a flexible, task‑based structure, letting players follow the main missions or dive into optional activities that unlock genomes, experimental traits and research paths.

Four New Dinosaurs Enter the Park

The Rebirth Expansion introduces four striking species, each with unique behaviors and challenges:

  • Distortus rex
A hyper‑aggressive predator with unique attack animations. Containment will push your security systems to their limits.

  • Mutant
A hybrid combining Velociraptor agility with pterosaur flight. Its aerial mobility makes it one of the hardest creatures to control.

  • Titanosaur
Featuring both adult and juvenile variants, this colossal herbivore brings massive scale and presence to the Ancient Valley.

  • Aquilops
A small but expressive ceratopsian with sexual dimorphism, a juvenile form and a distinctive striped tail.

Visual Upgrades Inspired by Jurassic World: Rebirth

Several iconic species receive new models, film‑inspired visuals, color palettes and patterns.
Highlights include:

  • Tyrannosaurus: 1 new model, 1 Rebirth visual, 12 colors, 6 patterns
  • Spinosaurus: 1 new model, 3 Rebirth visuals, 12 colors, 6 patterns
  • Mosasaurus: 1 new model, 1 Rebirth visual, 12 colors, 6 patterns
  • Quetzalcoatlus: 1 new model, 1 Rebirth visual, 12 colors, 6 patterns
  • Dilophosaurus: 1 Rebirth visual
  • Velociraptor: 2 Rebirth visuals

Vehicles such as SUVs, UVMs, ATVs and helicopters also receive new skins.

Build the Architecture of Île Saint‑Hubert

Players can expand research facilities using hundreds of decorative elements and more than 35 unique architectural designs.
Geothermal infrastructure, support structures and film‑inspired buildings like the Qualtech Fuel Station can all be constructed.
The expansion even lets players explore Mayan‑inspired temples while preserving the island’s natural beauty.

New Scientific Systems Change Park Management

The Rebirth Expansion introduces major new mechanics:

  • Geothermal energy
Power your facilities through an underground network of pipes that must be carefully managed to avoid catastrophic failures.

  • Outdoor Aviaries
Create expansive, natural habitats for flying species with higher altitude limits and fewer visual barriers.

  • Experimental traits
Modify species behavior, social dynamics and life cycles through risky research that blurs the line between science and chaos.

A Massive Expansion for Park Builders

With a new campaign, new dinosaurs, new visuals and new scientific systems, the Rebirth Expansion is one of the most ambitious additions the series has seen.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 players will have plenty to master when the expansion arrives on June 16.
