What Is the Desert Light Event in Black Desert
Desert Light is a limited time global collaboration event where players collect a special item, Desert Light, and exchange it for Desert Luminary's Tokens. These tokens contribute to a shared worldwide progress bar, unlocking rewards for the entire Black Desert community as milestones are reached.
The event celebrates Pearl Abyss’s continued self publishing efforts and encourages both new and veteran adventurers to participate.
How Do You Earn Desert Light
Players can obtain Desert Light through a wide range of in game activities, including:
- Daily login rewards
- Defeating monsters
- Gathering resources
- Fishing
- World Boss battles
- Dark Rifts
Once collected, Desert Light can be exchanged at Velia’s Ancient Device for Desert Luminary's Tokens.
How Do Global Milestones Work
Every token contributed by players worldwide pushes the global progress bar toward four major milestones:
- 25 percent
- 50 percent
- 75 percent
- 100 percent
Each milestone unlocks community wide rewards, meaning every adventurer benefits from the collective effort.
What Happens If Players Reach 100 Percent
If the global community reaches 100 percent during the event period, Pearl Abyss will activate a set of powerful bonus events, including:
- Enhanced Blessing of Morning effects
- Increased Agris Fever recovery
- Limited time boosts of:
- Up to 1,000 percent Combat EXP
- 100 percent Item Drop Rate
- 100 percent Life EXP
These bonuses significantly accelerate character progression and item acquisition.
What Rewards Can You Exchange for Tokens
Players can trade their accumulated Desert Luminary's Tokens for valuable items such as:
- 4,000 Cron Stones
