MBS has confirmed that Hell Mode Season 2 will premiere on July 3, 2026, and the announcement arrived with a brand new trailer. The preview features the opening theme “○✕△□” by Romanha Marshmallow, giving fans their first taste of the sequel’s energy and tone.
A Strong Creative Team Behind the Adaptation
The new season is animated by Yokohama Animation Lab, known for Miru Tights. Direction comes from Masato Tamagawa, with Daishiro Tanimura handling the script and Kei Tsushima shaping the character designs. Composer Yutaka Yamada, recognized for his work on Tokyo Ghoul and Babylon, returns to set the mood with a dramatic score.

The returning cast includes Mutsumi Tamura as Allen, Mayu Iizuka as Krena, Tasuku Hatanaka as Dogora and Sayaka Senbongi as Cecil. Their performances continue to anchor the series’ mix of comedy, action and hardcore RPG inspired progression.

Hell Mode began as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2019 before receiving a manga adaptation in 2020. The story follows Allen, a gamer reincarnated into another world with a “garbage” skill set that becomes overpowered through extreme grinding. Season 2 promises to push the stakes higher as Allen and his party face tougher enemies and deeper mysteries.
