Ysbryd Games and Necrosoft Games have confirmed that Demonschool is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, alongside a brand new paid DLC that adds a fresh layer of tactical brain‑twisting challenges.
Puzzle Battles With Only One Solution
The upcoming DLC shifts Demonschool into pure strategy mode with a series of puzzle battles.
Each encounter must be “solved” by wiping out every enemy on the board in a single move, using only the characters provided.
Every puzzle has exactly one correct solution, offering a focused, high difficulty experience for players who want to push their tactical skills further.
The DLC also includes:
- New items that charge special attacks
- Three new unlockable abilities usable in both the DLC and the main game
- A short original story with new music
- A new boss fight to cap off the experience
The developers estimate three to five hours of content, though the creative director reportedly took six.
Upgrades for Nintendo Switch 2
The Switch 2 version of Demonschool arrives with several improvements over the original release:
- Mouse control support
- Higher frame rate
- Additional graphical enhancements
Both the DLC and the Switch 2 edition are scheduled for 2026, giving fans plenty to look forward to as the game expands its tactical toolbox.
